Before you enrol
Can I join with no cutting experience?
Yes. The beginner class is designed for complete beginners and starts with tools, sectioning and one-length cutting: the instructor explains and demonstrates first, then guides you as you practise on a mannequin head in class. If you have finished the beginner class or already have a foundation, you can go straight into the intermediate class.
How many lessons are there, and when?
Both the beginner and intermediate classes run for 4 lessons of 2 hours in a small group, with new classes every month. Each class's dates, times and instructor are listed on the course page — pick the one that suits you and enrol.
How much does it cost?
The beginner class is HK$950 and the intermediate class HK$1,150, each covering all 4 lessons. The fee shown on the course page is always the current one.
Where are classes held?
All classes are held in Tsim Sha Tsui: Room 1809, Beverley Commercial Centre, 87–105 Chatham Road South, Kowloon.
How do I enrol and pay?
Register as a student, choose a class on the course page and press “Enrol”; we hold your place for 3 days. Then pay by FPS or PayMe and enter the transaction reference on the site. Once our staff have verified the payment (usually within 1–2 working days) your place is confirmed.
Do I need to bring my own tools?
Students normally bring their own mannequin head (one can also be bought from H-SE); cutting tools can be provided by H-SE. After you enrol we will tell you what to bring to the first lesson.
How can I contact H-SE?
WhatsApp or call (852) 9835 2540 / 9736 3873, email hsepartner@gmail.com, or use the enquiry form on the Contact page.
